Terms & Conditions
The rules for using the Ludo app. Please read them; by installing or using the app you agree to them.
Last updated: 1 November 20261Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and The Infosharp ("we", "us"), the developer of the Ludo app for Android (package com.tis.ludo, "the app"). By downloading, installing or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review these Terms with you.
2Licence to use the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment.
You may not:
- copy, modify, translate, decompile or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
- sell, rent, sub-license or redistribute the app or any part of it, or publish modified copies;
- remove or change any copyright notices, names or branding in the app.
The app is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
3Price & purchases
The app is currently free, with no advertising and no in-app purchases. If that ever changes, the details will be shown clearly in the app and on its Google Play page before you pay anything.
4Fair use
- Use the app lawfully and do not use it to harm others.
- Player names you type are shown on your device and, if you use Google backup, saved in your own Google Drive. Please don't use offensive names or other people's personal information.
- Do not try to interfere with the app's normal operation or security.
5Google sign-in & Drive backup
Signing in with Google is optional. When you do, the app saves your scores and settings to a hidden app folder in your own Google Drive, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Your Google account is provided by Google and governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy.
- Backup depends on Google's services and your internet connection. We can't guarantee they are always available, and we are not responsible for Google's services.
- Keep your own Google account secure; anyone signed in to it can restore your Ludo data.
6Your data
Your game data belongs to you and is stored on your device (and, if you choose, in your Google Drive). We don't receive a copy. Uninstalling the app, clearing its data or resetting scores can permanently remove your scores; please use Google backup if you want to keep them. See the Privacy Policy for details and how to delete your data.
7Intellectual property
Ludo is a traditional board game that nobody owns. The app itself (its code, board and token designs, themes, artwork, sounds, name and logo) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms do not give you any rights to them except the licence in section 2.
Google, Google Play and Google Drive are trademarks of Google LLC.
8No gambling or real-money play
The app is a game of chance and skill for entertainment only. It has no betting, stakes, prizes or real-money features, and you may not use it for gambling of any kind. Points on the leaderboard have no monetary value.
9No warranty
We work hard to make the app fun and reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device, or that saved games and scores will never be lost.
10Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Because the app is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid for the app (if any). Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer-protection laws that can't be excluded.
11Changes, updates & ending
- We may update the app, change or remove features, or stop offering it at any time.
- We may update these Terms. The new version will appear on this page with a new "Last updated" date; continuing to use the app after that means you accept it.
- You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Your licence ends automatically if you break these Terms.
12Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of India, unless the consumer laws of your country give you the right to bring proceedings where you live.
